For ground cable connection

The electricity supplier runs the service provider-owned connection cable up to a maximum of 1 meter in private areas. So we also have to place our measuring point at a maximum distance of 1 meter from the plot boundary. Which can be built into a wall-mounted or floor-standing plastic cabinet.

If we are talking about a condominium or a plot with a narrow handle, it is also possible to place a connecting device in the reception and then install a privately owned immeasurable main line at our own expense to the metering point. However, this is a planned, the immeasurable main line and thus also the metering point.

For overhead line connection

It can be placed on a column mounted on a self-owned concrete guard, or on the front wall of the house, if it is closer than 30 meters to the mains column from which we branch.

This should be discussed primarily with the electrical designer of the house. If the house does not have a special electricity demand, e.g. air-conditioned, solarium or three-gas equipment, in this case approx. For an average house up to 80 m2, the 32A with individual rights may be sufficient, which is much better distributed over several circuits, e.g. 3x16A.

The ground cable connector is always three-phase, so it can be expanded to three-phase at any time, within certain limits.

It should be noted that in case of demand above 32A, each ampere is 3600 HUF + VAT, which is payable to the electricity supplier as a one-time fee.

The values per phase must be added, so that e.g. if we want 3x16A, then a total of 48A-32A = 16A is payable. HUF 3,600 * 16A = HUF 57,600 * 1.27% VAT = HUF 73,152.

If we also ask for a controlled measurement, whatever, normal, GEO or H tariff, then we do not have to pay this amount again, as we paid for the day meter, the same goes for the controlled meter.

In Elmű's tariff table, this is listed as "B" tariff.

The "B base" pricing can be selected in addition to the "A1" or "A2" pricing, accounting is based on an annual reading. You can receive 8 hours of operating time per day, of which 4-6 hours are off-peak (and the shortest switching time cannot be less than 15 minutes). A separate domestic main distributor, a separate main line are required and can only be used to operate heat storage equipment. The current price is HUF 23 kWh (the normal daytime measurement is HUF 42 - October 10, 2020).

Since we are talking about a separate measurement, a separate electricity meter is needed, and it has a separate measuring point. It is good to decide this when planning, because if a separate wall is built for it, it does not matter how big that wall will be. Respectively, if e.g. I want to build a measuring point in a trash can, it is worth thinking ahead.

The H tariff is a seasonal tariff type for consumers with a separately measured two-tariff meter (available from 15 October to 15 April).

A separate domestic main distributor, a separate main line are required and can only be used to operate heat pump equipment. The current price is approx. 24 HUF kWh (the normal daytime measurement is 42 HUF - October 10, 2020).

IMPORTANT! Consult a specialist before selecting a heat pump, as not all appliances are eligible for these tafirs.

The application can be submitted, in case of an existing daytime measurement, for small household-sized power plants (HMKE).

Standardization of the measuring site can be requested in many cases, in many cases it is recommended.

The basic approach is that if you do not want to incur unnecessary avoidable costs, you should first check with a registered qualified (GTC) mechanic.
